The celebrated Deerfield Fitness Program provide a wide variety of exercise opportunities for every body.

Our group exercise studio, affectionately known as Gym II, is complemented by a “cardio nook”, and hosts an impressive variety of group exercise classes including sunrise Qi Gong, cardio calorie burn, yoga, Pilates Reformer classes, Yo-wei, circuit training, dance classes, and so much more. Gym II boasts a wide variety of modern fitness equipment and a wall of windows that makes it functional and beautiful. You’ll enjoy spending time there as well as in our strength training gym, Gym I, or on our outdoor sport court and in our heated pool. Our daily Aquatic Fitness classes are fun and low-impact, but adaptable enough to challenge even our most fit guests. There’s so much to do at Deerfield that there’s no need to ever leave our grounds.

But don’t forget that the scenic Pocono Mountain playground is right in our backyard! Venture out for power walks on a quiet country road or hike some of the great trails of the northeast, including the Appalachian Trail and the web of beautiful trails that make up the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Pick and choose, do a little, or do it all. You decide.

We offer an award-winning hiking program with professionally guided hikes. Our skilled hiking guides are extremely knowledgeable not only about the extensive trail system but also about the local flora and fauna. The Deerfield guides make every effort to make the hikes both interesting and educational, fun, and a great way to get our guests moving. The program offers hikes that range from easy beginner hikes to advanced adventures. We adapt our hikes to our guests’ preferences and abilities, and there is something for everyone.

The Deerfield Health Retreat and Spa all-inclusive package includes accommodations, all meals and snacks, free Wi-Fi, all group exercise classes and hikes, 24-hour access to the Main House, our group exercise studio and cardio nook, our fully-equipped strength training center, the beautiful heated outdoor pool, gazebo-enclosed hot tub, outdoor sport court, and sauna.
